DJ Apolaro wins the 2013 ROAR On Road Fuel Nationals

Congratulations to Spektrum team driver DJ Apolaro for winning the 2013 ROAR Fuel On-road National Championship in the 1/10 Scale Sedan division. DJ was able to take the lead early in the race and open a 1 lap advantage over second position by the midway point of the hour long main. With his competitors pushing hard to catch up DJ used an alternate strategy of driving a steady pace and conserving his tires. While most of his other rivals were forced to pit for new rubber DJ was able to crank out smooth consistent laps and stretch his margin of victory to over 2 laps.

To assist in his victory DJ used a Spektrum DX3R Pro Radio (SPM3200), S6070 Steering Servo (SPMSS6070), and a S6040 Throttle Servo (SPMSS6040).
